Doreen Marchione for Kirkland City Council

One of my strengths is cutting through complexity and finding the most efficient pathways from problems to solutions. Today, Kirkland faces new and complex challenges, particularly with the budget shortfall, possible annexations and the hiring of the next City Manager.  I believe my experience will be an asset to the City Council as they set public policy.

I would hope to achieve an improved economic climate for Kirkland, with development concentrated in Totem Lake and Downtown and not in the neighborhoods, and to help transform the Council into a productive team, leading to a vibrant well functioning process for  setting public policy where all voices are heard.
